Frequently asked questions
Does sending an RFQ cost anything?
No. Shippers send RFQs for free. Vendors pay with their plan quota or deposit balance (IDR 75,000–IDR 250,000 per lead) when they open a lead.
Who can see my contact details?
Only invited vendors who opened the lead. Before that, vendors only see the title, route, mode, date and volume.
How many vendors are invited?
At most 5 per RFQ, chosen by matching service, lanes and ports, then plan priority, verification level and rating.
How long does an RFQ stay open?
7 days by default (3–14 days possible). Vendors who have not opened it are reminded after 24 and 72 hours; you get a summary at 72 hours.
Does Stowage.id set rates or hold payments?
No. Vendors set their prices and the service contract is directly between you and the vendor. Stowage.id never holds funds.
Is there a limit on RFQs?
To prevent spam, accounts younger than 7 days can send 3 RFQs per 24 hours, after that 10 per 24 hours. Your email must be verified.
