Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Stowage.id ("we") about the use of the stowage.id website, application, API, embed widget, Academy and related services (the "Services"). If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and "you" means that company.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Additional terms may apply to Enterprise plans or other written agreements; in case of conflict, the written agreement prevails.

2. The Services

• Cargo Studio 3D & Planner: load planning for containers, trucks, pallets and ULDs; usable without an account.
• Stowage Tools: free logistics calculators.
• Freight RFQ, directory & marketplace: a way to connect users with logistics vendors.
• Maritime data, guides & glossary: reference information.
• Academy: courses, simulations and certificates.
• API, webhooks & widget: programmatic access and tools for third-party websites.

We continuously develop the Services and may add, change or discontinue features. Changes that materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

3. Accounts and account security

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity in your account and organisation, including keeping sign-in codes, devices and API keys confidential.
• Organisation owners and admins decide who is a member and which role they have.
• Tell us immediately at security@stowage.id if you suspect your account is being misused.
• MFA is required for Business plans and up and for platform admins.

4. Plans, payment and tax

• Prices, quotas and features of each plan are listed on the Pricing page and may change for future periods with prior notice.
• Rupiah payments are processed by licensed payment providers (Xendit, Midtrans); international payments by Paddle as merchant of record. We do not store card data.
• Rupiah prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise; VAT is added to the invoice under applicable rules.
• Subscriptions renew with a new invoice shortly before the end of the period. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• Unless required by law, fees paid are non-refundable and there are no prorated refunds.
• Add-on credits (for example AI or optimisation credits) cannot be cashed out or transferred.
• Attempts to get around quotas, paywalls or plan limits (for example by creating many free accounts) breach these Terms.

5. Ownership of customer data

Your data stays yours. Cargo data, packing lists, load plans, prices, quotations, files and other content you enter ("Customer Data") belong to you or your organisation.

• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to store, process, display and transmit Customer Data solely to provide the Services to you and according to your settings (for example public links or RFQs).
• We do not sell Customer Data, do not show it to other organisations without your action, and do not use it to train third-party AI models.
• We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics that cannot be linked to you or your organisation (for example average utilisation) to improve the Services.
• You can export and delete your data at any time. After an account or organisation is deleted, data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
• You warrant that you are entitled to enter Customer Data, including third parties' personal data, and have met your personal data protection obligations for it.

6. Public links, widget and API

• A load plan you make public can be viewed by anyone who has the link. You can revoke the link at any time.
• The free embed widget may be installed on your website within the domains configured in your account. The "Powered by Stowage.id" attribution may only be removed on plans that include white-label.
• The API may only be accessed with your own API key, within your plan's quota. API keys must be kept secret and sent only in a header.

7. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Scrape, mass-crawl or automatically extract data from the Services (including the directory, port data, glossary and tool results) outside the official API, except search engine crawlers that respect robots.txt.
• Copy, resell or build derivative databases from the Services' content and data.
• Access or attempt to access other organisations' data, test security outside the vulnerability disclosure rules, or disrupt the Services (for example DoS attacks).
• Reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent technical restrictions, quotas, rate limits or Turnstile.
• Upload malware, unlawful content or data you are not entitled to share.
• Use the Services to plan shipments of prohibited goods or to evade customs, quarantine or sanctions rules.
• Send fake RFQs, spam, or impersonate another person or company.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access that breaches these rules.

8. Marketplace, vendors and reviews

Stowage.id connects users and vendors. Logistics service contracts are made directly between the user and the vendor. We are not a party to that contract, not a carrier, not an agent, and do not hold funds for logistics services.

Vendor obligations

• Provide accurate, non-misleading company, service and price information.
• The verified badge is only granted after we check the business registration (NIB/OSS) and legal status. The badge is not a guarantee of service quality.
• Use shipper data from RFQs or leads only to respond to that request, and meet personal data protection obligations.
• Lead fees and vendor plans follow the Pricing page. Leads shown to be fake can be submitted for review.

Reviews

• Reviews can only be left by users who actually ran an RFQ with that vendor through Stowage.id.
• Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. Fake, paid or competitor reviews are prohibited and will be removed.
• Vendors may respond publicly but must not offer anything in return for changing or removing a review.

Reports and disputes

Report suspicious profiles, RFQs or reviews with the report button or at halo@stowage.id. We review reports, may ask both sides for evidence, and may hide content or suspend accounts. Disputes about the performance of logistics services are settled between the user and the vendor.

9. AI content

AI features produce suggestions that can be wrong. AI answers are labelled, must be checked by you, and are never official tariffs, customs rulings, binding HS classifications or legal advice.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are planning aids. All results are estimates based on user input and reference data. The following disclaimers apply and are also shown in the relevant places in the product:

11. Limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the Services are error-free or always available, or that planning results suit actual loading conditions.
• You remain responsible for physical checks, weighing, cargo securing (lashing), compliance with road load limits, documents and operational decisions.
• We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, data loss caused by your own actions, fines or damage to goods arising from the use of planning results.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
• These limits do not apply to losses caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, Customer Data you enter, or your relationship with your vendors or clients.

13. Intellectual property

The software, packing engine, design, the Stowage.id brand, guide content, glossary and data we curate belong to us or our licensors. You may quote content fairly with attribution and a link to the original page. We may use feedback you give us to improve the Services without obligation to you.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if invoices remain unpaid after notice. Where possible, we give you the chance to export your data before termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first settled amicably. If no agreement is reached within 30 days of written notice, the dispute is settled by the competent district court in the Republic of Indonesia.

These Terms are made in Indonesian and English in line with Law No. 24 of 2009. If the two versions are interpreted differently, the Indonesian version prevails.

16. Changes

We may change these Terms. Material changes are announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. By continuing to use the Services after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms.
