Freighter Aircraft
A freighter is an aircraft dedicated to cargo, with no passengers, so its main deck can be filled with pallets and ULD containers. Freighters take taller and heavier pieces than the belly of a passenger aircraft, and some types have a nose door for long items. Goods labelled Cargo Aircraft Only, such as some lithium batteries, may travel only on freighters. Freighter schedules are usually more limited, so book early.
