High Cube Container (40HC)
A high cube container is 9'6" (2,896 mm) high externally, one foot taller than a standard 8'6" box. A 40HC offers about 2,698 mm inner height, 76.4 m³ of volume and a typical payload of 26,540 kg, with ISO type code 45G1. It suits light, bulky cargo and double-stacked pallets. Check the overall vehicle height on the road route and under bridges, because the box on a chassis can come close to Indonesia's 4,200 mm limit.
