Wingbox Truck
A wingbox truck has a closed body whose two sides lift up like wings, so pallets can be loaded and unloaded by forklift from the side. Catalogue defaults for a tronton wingbox are a 9,400 × 2,400 × 2,500 mm deck, 56.4 m³, a 15,000 kg payload and a 26,000 kg JBB. Wingboxes speed up handling at warehouses without loading docks, but cargo still needs securing inside, because the side panels are not a restraint.
