Tronton Truck (Three-Axle Rigid)
A tronton is a three-axle rigid truck with ten tyres, usually twin wheels on two rear axles. Catalogue defaults for a tronton box are a 9,000 × 2,400 × 2,400 mm deck, 51.84 m³, a 15,000 kg payload and a 26,000 kg JBB. Trontons carry bulk, bagged and palletised cargo over long distances. Note that each axle is still limited by the road class, so an uneven load can exceed the axle limit even when the total weight looks fine.
