Fuso Truck (Medium Truck)

In Indonesian: Truk Fuso (truk sedang)

In the Indonesian market, a fuso truck is the generic name for a two-axle, six-tyre medium truck larger than a CDD, whatever the actual brand. Catalogue defaults for a fuso box are a 5,800 × 2,350 × 2,300 mm deck, about 31.35 m³, an 8,000 kg payload and a 16,000 kg JBB. These trucks are often used for intercity and inter-island loads via ro-ro ferries. Because the name is loose, confirm dimensions and JBB from the KIR record rather than the label.

  • CDD Truck (Double)

A CDD truck is a two-axle truck with six tyres, meaning twin wheels on the rear axle.

  • Tronton Truck (Three-Axle Rigid)

A tronton is a three-axle rigid truck with ten tyres, usually twin wheels on two rear axles.

  • Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (JBB)

JBB, the Indonesian gross vehicle weight rating, is the maximum weight of a vehicle plus its load as designed by the manufacturer and type-approved, as set out in PP No.

  • Axle Load

Axle load is the share of vehicle and cargo weight carried by one axle.
