Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (JBB)
JBB, the Indonesian gross vehicle weight rating, is the maximum weight of a vehicle plus its load as designed by the manufacturer and type-approved, as set out in PP No. 55 of 2012 on Vehicles. The figure appears in the vehicle's KIR test book or card. Typical market values are about 8,250 kg for a CDD box truck and 26,000 kg for a tronton. JBB is not payload: payload is roughly the lower of JBB or JBI minus curb weight and crew.
