ISPM 15
ISPM 15 is the IPPC standard for wood packaging in international trade, such as pallets, crates and timber dunnage. The wood must be heat treated (HT, 56 °C at the core for 30 minutes) or fumigated with methyl bromide (MB), then stamped with the IPPC mark showing the country code, producer code and treatment code. Many countries no longer accept MB. Processed wood such as plywood is generally exempt. Unmarked pallets can be refused or destroyed at destination.
