Phytosanitary Certificate
A phytosanitary certificate is issued by the exporting country's plant protection authority to confirm that plants or plant products were inspected and meet the importing country's requirements, under the IPPC framework. In Indonesia it is issued by the Indonesian Quarantine Agency (Barantin). Coffee, spices, fresh fruit and timber are typical commodities that need one. Check the destination's requirements before the goods are packed.
