Release Approval (SPPB)
The SPPB is the customs approval to release imported goods from the customs area once the PIB is processed, levies are paid and the checks for the assigned channel are done. Together with the shipping line's delivery order, it is needed to get a container out of the terminal. The time until the SPPB is issued is a large part of dwelling time. Delays from incomplete documents or the red channel add storage and demurrage costs, so prepare documents before the vessel arrives.
